Take a look at some of the projects we've worked on recently.
- Provided writing and editing support for a multiple-project grant writing
assignment on behalf of a girl-centered rites of passage program.
- Prepared a literature review and conducted focus groups in support of a SAMHSA
grant focused on the connections between HIV/AIDS and substance abuse. At the
project's end we prepared a detailed report with an analysis of the findings.
- Facilitated a foundation's board retreat using structured conversation techniques
to gather information on the organization's strengths and weaknesses as well as
long and short term goals. Results from the conversation were provided in writing
with observations and next steps.
- Provided research and writing support to a group of community volunteers and
stakeholders working on a funding request at the behest of a state college for the
purpose of improving low-income student access to postsecondary education.
- Worked with volunteers in Clay County, Florida to develop a community agenda
and collect secondary data that would measure progress toward that agenda
over time.
- Provided research support for an author's non-fiction book on overcoming socio-
economic stressors by understanding personal emotional triggers.
- Served as lead staff for a citizen-led study on municipal budget processes,
including meeting support, collecting data, preparing written meeting notes, and
editing the final report.
- Completed a departing strategic planning manager's outstanding tasks for a
human services agency, including new business development research, writing a
program business plan, and managing an internal process assessment project.
- Facilitated a series of conversations in an economically disadvantaged
neighborhood with regard to high infant mortality rates and subsequently
prepared a summary report for a community think tank.
