Definition: A fund raising activity that requires matching the needs of a grant-seeking (grantee) organization with the purposes of a grant-making (grantor) organization.
We will work with your team to develop a solid grant narrative with a data-based problem statement, measurable goals, data-based conclusions, and measurable outcomes.
You can expect us to follow the steps below in order to convert your project plans and ideas into the language of the grant application.
Conduct background research to find statistics, data, and information to prove the need for the project.
Develop an understanding of the project by interviewing those persons who will be responsible for carrying out the program or project mission.
Through the interview process acquire an understanding of the organization, its mission, history, current programs/projects, and the people it serves in order to develop a robust proposal that is a persuasive, written case for funding.
Prepare the grant application using strong expository writing skills and a command of grammar and spelling.
Prepare the grant proposal in accordance with the grant-making organization’s preferences by following the granter's guidelines in exacting detail.
Provide evaluation and/or follow-up reports as requested after a project or program has been funded at your organization's discretion.
