Definition: A fund raising activity that requires matching the needs of a
grant-seeking (grantee) organization with the purposes of a grant-making
(grantor) organization.

We will work with your team to develop a solid grant narrative with a data-based
problem statement, measurable goals, data-based conclusions, and measurable
outcomes.

You can expect us to follow the steps below in order to convert your project
plans and ideas into the language of the grant application.

  • Conduct background research to find statistics, data, and information to
prove the need for the project.

  • Develop an understanding of the project by interviewing those persons
who will be responsible for carrying out the program or project mission.

  • Through the interview process acquire an understanding of the organization,
its mission, history, current programs/projects, and the people it serves in
order to develop a robust proposal that is a persuasive, written case for
    funding.

  • Prepare the grant application using strong expository writing skills and a
    command of grammar and spelling.

  • Prepare the grant proposal in accordance with the grant-making
organization’s preferences by following the granter's guidelines in exacting
    detail.

  • Provide evaluation and/or follow-up reports as requested after a project or
program has been funded at your organization's discretion.
